DIN (Deutsches Institute for Normung) Unions are a German standard 4 piece stainless steel union comprising of a male, nut, liner and seal. The male has a rounded thread, while the liner has a flat face which takes a half round seal which recesses into the male part. A slotted nut completes the union and a C-Spanner is used to open/close the nut.
